Golden Dragon in Yelm

Just had the leftovers from last night Valentines dinner with my wife. Most restaurants rush you on feb.14. The staff was very good and friendly. We had 2 - the queen family style. Recommend highly.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Mongolian beef was not good mostly onions. The crab ragun nasty. Fried rice was just rice with nothing in it. This place sucks. They should close and never work in food again.

Had plans to eat dinner and watch movie. Says they close at 9pm. Well we showed up at 7:45 and they just closed. Ruined our evening and made is late to movie. Stay open or change your hours.

It was ok, not really flavorful.. but the food taste good..

Ordered to go, Beef Lo Mein, Pork fried rice, and Egg Rolls. Beef Lo Mein only had 3 pieces of meat, only ate 1 piece, which tasted terrible, hardly any noodles, way too many Bean sprouts, and was just bland, tasteless. The Pork fried rice was also awful. Pork had an off taste, bland, bland, bland. Cost $34.00. The worst Chinese food I have ever had. We were not able to eat it. I was going to return the food and get our money back, but felt bad for them. There were only 2 other people there when I stopped and ordered. Just horrible. God bless them.

Fantastic. Menu is great, diverse and portions enough for two people. The owner is delightful and so cheerful... She loves people. Tea has a hint of Jasmin taste, a nice touch. There is a nice attention to details and quality. Little things like the best quality fortune cookies with the almond flavor that cost the restaurant a little more but a nice touch of quality to end our meal with their tea. Very enjoyable.

Staff really helpful and food was awesome

The lady that helped us was great she seemed friendly and was patient as my friend didnt know what to get however the food was nasty the fried rice was like something my high school would serve the lo mein was 50% bean sprouts 40% sauce 9% stale overcooked (mushy) noodles and 1% veggies overall I will not be going back here I have no idea where the people who rated this place anything other then 2 stars ate but it wasnt here again the service was good but the food was done very poorly if you want asian food the only good place ive been to in yelm is youngs teriyaki

Although the food looked fresh and appetizing, it was extremely bland. We've never had such bland food at a Chinese restaurant before. It tasted like there were no spices at all

Will never go back. Had a nad feeling once they told me that the beef and broccoli was mainly just vegetables. Then said I'll share a plate of orange chicken with my girlfriend. Got food and we both took 2 bites and regretted coming in. We offered to pay for the food but they lady just took food back and said its fine. Not to add I've never been to a place that serves "fried rice" with just white rice with soy sauce on it... with no vegetables in it.Save your money and go somewhere else.

Tiny portions for $10 + each. Service was kind of demanding. Taste was bad. I am not impressed at all with this place. Way to pricey. Each is your own tho, will not be returning to this place again.

Love coming here! My favorite is between the Almond Chicken or the Beef Broccoli! The owner is friendly and visits with you with she has the time. She helps in the kitchen and also serving the food. Very lovely lady! Always try stopping thru when when we can coming from Tacoma area.

JUST EAT AN MRE!! 49 bucks to find out not even the dog will not eat it. So bland soy sauce couldnt save it. Only thing they got right was the egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. And I dont right reviews of places.

Ordered the combo "D2". General Tso chicken was ok, prawns were doughy, fried rice was mushy and bland, almond fried chicken was flavorless. Best of all the waitress didn't care that over half of our order was gross, she said "that's the way it is". Definitely not coming back. They don't care about customer satisfaction.... In all fairness, she did give us a small container of general tso as we left, but only after the kitchen saw that it plate came back over half full.

Ordered chicken fried rice over half of it were bean spouts ...rice had no flavor ..

They serve instant coffee, the fried rice was just steamed rice with soy sauce on it.

Despite the mixed reviews, I enjoyed the food here. Favorite dish at the moment is the the General Tso! I definitely like this dish a lot since it was a bit more on the spices side vs the usual sweet and spicy mix. Highly recommend trying out this place for some solid Chinese food =)

Look very closely at the plate when they serve it.Owner is not friendly and does not appreciate it if you tell her that the food is not good. Loud and unhappy

Nice and fresh to order food

Food was bland and mooshy. My husband always cleans his plate especially when its any kind of Asian food and he couldn't get past the second bite Cant believe I spent 50$ on dinner for my dogs. Neither of us could get past the no flavor and defenently the mooshy gooeyness of everything

I love this place! Kathy is the sweetest person. So personable and attentive. Food is delicious and always fresh.

The friend rice is mushy white rice soaked in soy sauce with eggs. It was so bland and disgusting. The sweet and sour chicken was mushy on the outside and tough on the inside. Impossible to cut with a fork. The sauce was ok but still had a cheap taste. I will NEVER eat their food again. I can't believe they serve garbage to the public.

The staff is very nice and the food is decent. Although the prices and portions are horrible.

If I could rate this a negative 100 I would. If you want quality good chinese DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I order the lo mein and it was all bean sprouts with a few noodles. The beef and the sauce had no flavor as well. We also ordered the chicken fried rice. It had one piece of chicken, a million bean sprouts and zero flavor. Save your money and go to mcdonalds

One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The almond chicken tastes like wallpaper paste and the environment is really weird and depressing.

Good food, owner very nice. It was a cold winter day and had hot sour soup. Generous portions.

Chinese food was bland, the chow Mein was mostly bean sprouts and had the gravy they use for egg fu young on it which was different :/ the sweet and sour chicken didn’t have flavor, the white rice had a weird flavor, and the General taos chicken was exceptional... service was good.

You get plenty of food for your money. Somethings were better than others. I would recommend the almond chicken. The place is never really busy so the staff is right there when you need them.

The food here was really good! We all got different combination plates and everything was spot on. Perfectly cooked and delicious. We're down from Seattle so we didn't have high hopes but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and we had a great time with 'em... All in all an enjoyable experience.

We have been customers for years. Fine food at a reasonable price. Great service. We travel 20 miles round trip to eat there and it's worth the trip.

Paid 57.00 to know that my family and I will never go back. We order 3 different meals and it was not good at all. My husband will always finish his food even when he dont like it but he had to send It back that's how bad it was. They only would take off 5 dollars for our meals and we didn't even hardly touch them. Beware not a good place to eat.

A quiet friendly atmosphere with really good food .Good portions for the price .

Food was horrible, made me extremely sick. It tasted like it was freezer burnt. My husband and I hadn’t seen each other in over a year from deployment and we came here because the reviews were decent. We were extremely giggly, but not to the point of being unreasonable. The waitress full on APOLOGIZED to the other guests for our laughing so much. Again, we were not being obnoxious or rude at all, just happy to see each other. The only thing keeping them from getting a one star is they knew my husband was in the military by his haircut and offered a discount. My advice for improvement, make the chicken less rubbery, and have your staff lighten up. Some couples are happy to see each other and may be more happy than usual. Or at least don’t make your apology to other guests so obvious. I will never return here. Food poisoning and I feel like I can’t be myself? No thank you.

well the last time I was there I was actually at the bus stop right out in front of the place however on a couple of occasions I have dying there once on the opening and then sometime later. If my memory serves me correctly it was a stone groove

Didnt like the food at all along with being overpriced.. needed salt on most and over breaded on all the fried foods. I will not be coming back.
